“I am Jeanne. I have lived my life embracing as many experiences as I can, and mastering them. I have been a trophy catching fisher-woman. I went through a crafty stage - needlepoint, crafts, and even ceramics. I was on 2 dart leagues. I earned my Bachelor of Science degree at 35 years old after going to school part time for 9 years. I have played and won fantasy baseball. I am an excellent pistol range shooter. When cancer came to me this year, I decided to treat it like everything else in my life - a new challenge that I would master and overcome. I will not let anyone or anything steal my joy or my positive outlook, and I won't let cancer define who I am.”
